Hey guys!

I'm finally done with college!! #YasQueenYass

You may not know, but I am going to a MakeUp Academy in October, for an entire academic year! It's so exciting, I don't think I was ever this excited to do anything, like ever. I'm doing an ITEC Fashion, Theatre and Media Diploma Course in the VanityX MakeUp Academy in Dublin!

I went to my interview on the 23 of April, it was at the Academy and I fell in love with it the second I walked in. Lights, mirrors, makeup? Heaven! The guy, DJ, that was interviewing me was so sweet and I was like, he'd be like the coolest friend ever! And all the girls seemed so nice it was such an amazing experience to be there, even if I didn't get in. My mom said that apparently I wouldn't stop smiling, and to be honest, I'm not surprised, I was so happy in that place.

I waited for my acceptance letter for what seemed like forever! I was literally waiting for the post man at the window, running out the second he left and looking in the post box.

Yesterday, I finally got my letter and it said I was accepted!! I was beyond happy! I actually cried #shameless.

Anyway, I can't wait to start the course and freelancing, doing people's makeup. I'm so excited for what's to come and what I want to do during and after the course. During the course I will post a lot of blog posts with my looks, I will even vlog throughout the year. I want to go back to YouTube again and make proper makeup videos. And what I want to do after the course will have to stay a secret for a while ;)

Anyway, to freelance I need a good enough of a kit. I have been stalking Sephora site like crazy! I've been passionate about makeup for years now and I know my makeup, so I kind of knew what was where, what did it do and if others liked it. So I created a list of what I want to have in my kit in the coming months.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit $40
Anastasia Beverly Hills Powder Contour Kit $40

I think we all know why I want these in my kit.
The hype that the Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream and Powder Contour Palettes has been absolutely crazy. So many other brands have copied ABH, I guess it must be really good if people pay $40 for these babies. Perhaps they're paying for the name, but from the tutorials I've seen these are a great quality and I will definitely be investing in these soon.

The POREfessional Matte Rescue Invisible Finish Mattifying Gel $28
The POREfessional Agent Zero Shine $30
The Big Easy Liquid to Powder Foundation $38

I myself may not have enlarged pores, there is a bit of them showing from time to time. But my sister has extremely enlarged pores on her cheeks and nose. I've noticed that most of my friends have their pores showing as well. I want to see if these babies would work on people to reduce the pores. I've heard great things about it too.
The Big Easy by Benefit is apparently good as well. I think it was Jaclyn Hill that featured this in her drugstore favourites. It looks good on the skin as a few of my friends use it. So I'd love to try it out myself.

Soleil Matte Bronzer, Too Faced $30
NARSissist Cheek Studio Palette, NARS $65

I don't think I'd like to carry single blushes or bronzers in my kit. I think that they would annoy me and it just would take way too long to look for the right one. I believe that palettes are a way to go. I heard a lot of great things about this NARS palette. From watching online tutorials I know that NARS has one of the best blushes and bronzers that are out there and I would love to see it myself. The palette looks very pretty and is quite cheap considering it has seven blushes/bronzers.
I also love the look of this matte brown bronzer from Too Faced. I think it would be the only exception of a single bronzer I would have no problem carrying in my case.

MakeUp Case (link) $106
MakeUp bag, Make Up For Ever $125

I need a case to carry all my stuff in. I am in love with these two. One is a case and one is a bag. One has compartments and the other has mini see through bags that you can put your products in. I like the first one as my things wouldn't be flying all around the place, but I like the bag as it would be more comfortable to carry around. The price isn't all that different, I'll have to think about this one.

Which one would you guys pick? Any advice?

Urban Decay

Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid MakeUp $40
Naked Skin Beauty Balm Broad Spectrum $14
Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer $28

I always wanted to try out the Urban Decay foundations/concealers. The hype on YouTube on the Naked Skin foundation and concealer is huge. They look stunning on as well, but I have only seen this online, not in actual life. I would love to give these a try. The concealer is quite inexpensive considering that it is from UD.

Electric Eyeshadow Palette, Urban Decay $49
Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Eye Shadow Palette, Tarte $45
Naked Smoky, Urban Decay $54

This Electric palette, I mean look at it. The colours are so vibrant, and pigmented, it is a must in a kit I think. If you have this, you're pretty much settled for crazy shadows.
The Tarte palette had me in love with it the second I seen it. I am a huge fan of nude, natural shadows and I have so many its unreal. Like when am I going to use up all that? The Naked Smoky palette looks amazing too, I love the middle 5 shadows, many interesting looks could be achieved with that.

High Beam Liquid Face Highlight, Benefit $26
Naked Illuminated Shimmering Powder for Face and Body, Urban Decay $30
Glow Kit, Anastasia Beverly Hills $40
Shimmer Brick, Bobbi Brown $46
Champagne Pop, Jaclyn Hill for Becca $38
Ambient Lightening Palette, Hourglass $62
Skin Fetish, Pat McGrath Labs $72

Everywhere you go, you see 'You can never have too much highlight'. I slightly disagree as wearing too much will make you look sweaty, like my boyfriend once pointed out, thanks darling. It can also look very plastic. Highlighter is here to give you a nice subtle glow, but hey, I can't tell you how to rock your highlight. You do you boo.
Everyone is going crazy about the Champagne Pop highlighter from Jaclyn Hill, and it does indeed look stunning on the skin. The Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick is one of the most beautiful highlighters/blushes I've ever seen. One of my friends has it and oh my, the glow! Natural yet shimmery. There is a bunch of shades to choose from, so I think you'd be able to find one to suit you.
Skin Fetish, oh yes.. Pat McGrath has been my favourite makeup artist for a good while now, and when I found out that she's coming out with a makeup product I was like 'yeah, this one is gonna be sooo good', and I was not disappointed! It looks so beautiful on the skin. Just look at reviews on it on YT, I cannot put into words how beautiful this highlight looks. And, Congratulations to Pat for being the only person today, that has managed to break the internet with her product and not being a Kardashian. It is expensive, but the packaging is so beautiful, there is a bunch of cequins in the bag! Who doesn't want all these cequins AND a bombass highlight that will reflect peoples' negativity off it when you get some?

I know I would..

Kat Von D
Lock-it Featherweight Primer $32
Lock-it Foundation $35
Lock-it Concealer $25
Lock-it Powder Foundation $35
Shade+Light Contour Palette $46
Shade +Light Eye Contour Palette $46

I am absolutely in love with the Kat Von D beauty line. The package is absolutely beautiful, the product comes out even better. From what I've seen on YouTube, the foundation and concealer is so high coverage it even conceals tattoos!
And we know that everyone had a different skin type, different texture etc. and some people really do 'need' the coverage. Not saying that they have to, but people always looked for ways to cover up acne and acne scars, and these two seem like the products to go for. The palettes are superb, highly pigmented and the hype on them is crazy now. Every YouTube tutorial you see has at least one of these palettes.
The KVD products will definitely be the first ones I will buy for my kit, even for my own personal use.

Sephora Lip Pots (available only on Polish Sephora website)
Bobbi Brown University Lip Palette, Bobbi Brown $60
Be Legendary Lipstick Palette, Smashbox $75

Just like the bronzers and blushes, I would hate to carry around single lipsticks in my case, I think it would just get in the way. I would much rather buy a palette, save money, be a bit more organised and have a wide variety of colours. I love that Smashbox palette, it has so many different shades, and the price is so good for a smashbox product. I think that the Bobbi Brown palette is very on trend right now, with the whole mauve/dark nude lip that Kylie Jenner has started.

High Lenghts Mascara, Clinique $16.50
Phenomen'Eyes Mascara, Givenchy $32
They're Real, Lenghtening and Volumising Mascara, Benefit $24

I've known this Clinique mascara for a few years now, since Bubzbeauty has raved about it, this was back in like 2012 I believe. It is perfect for the lower lashes, since the wand is so thin, it will not clump the lashes either. It's like a dream lower lash mascara.
Doesn't this Givenchy mascara look awesome? I always have a problem with reaching my lashes in the very outter corner of my eye. I think that this mascara would help me solve my problem.
I am in love with this mascara. All I can say haha.

Make Up For Ever

Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation $43
5 Camouflage Cream Palette Colour Correct and Concealer $40
Ultra HD Concealer $27

The HD Foundation seems like the Holy Grail of nearly every makeup artist. I have no idea why, but I suppose it's very covering and looks great on photos. I mean the tutorials I've seen featuring those did in fact make the person look amazing when paired with the concealer. I would love to see if I'd love it too. And with time I'd love to have a few shades of this for my kit.

Radiant Creamy Concealer $29
All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation $48

Celebrities and bloggers rave about this product so much. I don't really know why to be completely honest, and that is why I would love to try these out for personal use. I just would love to see what the hype is about and whether these live up to it.

Too Faced

The Sweet Peach Eye Palette $49
The Chocolate Bar Eye Palette $49

I absolutely love anything peach, peach tea, peach perfume etc. And apparently this palette smells amazing.
AND the Chocolate palette smells like chocolate, some even say that it tastes of it too!

Pfssh.. No.. I will NOT be getting a palette just because of the smell..

Maybe I will...

Don't judge..

Urban Decay

Eyeshadow Primer Potion $20
All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray $30

I have seen the Primer Potion on YouTube for absolute ages, it looks good, but seeing is believing and I wanna see it for myself.
I remember trying out a few shadows on my hands at the Duty Free at the Airport last summer and I sprayed this setting spray on it to see if it works. Three hours later on the plane, the shadows were still on and looked great. The mist felt so so nice on the skin too. I will definitely be buying this.

I will write about more products in a different post,
this is it for now. I hope you liked it!

Have you got any of these products?
Did they work for you?

Much love,
